Clickboost secures Google support for advertising strategy – Daily Business

Partnership boost: Scott Beveridge and Gordon Campbell

ClickBoost, the young online advertising agency, has been invited to join Google’s growth program, offering opportunities to develop its strategy.

The Glasgow-based agency, founded by online advertising and marketing veterans Gordon Campbell and Scott Beveridge in 2018, has also received a five-figure sum from Scottish Enterprise to develop its software platform.

ClickBoost now serves multi-million dollar brands and accounts in the UK and Europe in a number of industries including e-commerce, finance, dental care and travel.

The Google program will give ClickBoost preferential access to senior executives who will assist the agency with account strategy and provide quick access to beta products and industry information.

Mr. Campbell called Google’s invitation a “great honor.”

He said: “Normally it’s much more established companies with a considerable staff that are invited to this, so it shows that we are doing something right.

“Google examines the intelligence with which Google Ads accounts are structured and the efficiency with which they generate sales and leads to determine which agencies to form a direct partnership with.”

ClickBoost has worked closely with Scottish Enterprise and Business Gateway since the launch of the company. Scottish Enterprise provided additional funding through its Innovation Support Service.

Mr Beveridge said: “Working in partnership with Scottish Enterprise – not only financially but also with their network – allows us to further develop our tools. “

Claire Partridge, Innovation Specialist at Scottish Enterprise, said: “I have worked with ClickBoost for the past 18 months on the design and development of their software platform.

“Business support included a number of one-on-one meetings to review plans and project progress, followed by an innovation grant, to enable the business to move forward with the project. product development.

“It’s great to see another data-driven company choosing to locate in Glasgow, with plans for growth. “

Greig Sinclair, Business Advisor at Business Gateway Glasgow, said: “It has been a pleasure working with Gordon and Scott over the past few years and seeing how the business has progressed.

“In addition to support for innovation in finance, intellectual assets and support for recruiting their first staff member fueled their growth. “
