Fun88, in collaboration with Darren Sammy, launched its latest brand campaign with the central message “Battles are meant to be fought on digital playgrounds and not on the pitch”. The company had appointed Darren Sammy as its brand ambassador in July 2021.
Spread across three branded films, Fun88’s campaign features Darren in three distinct avatars where he is seen breaking up fights and urging people to fight on Fun88’s digital playground. Unlike his usual jersey look, Darren wears a mukut or crown in one movie, while donning an actor look in another. The third film is set in the very popular sport of cockfighting.
Speaking about Fun88’s marketing initiatives, Fun88 Spokesperson said, “India is a very important market for us where consumers make a living from cricket and sports in general. Keeping this in mind, our campaigns are designed to make a direct connection with our existing and potential users. brands are interesting, unique and relevant, and with Darren Sammy as our face, we are confident that we will strengthen Fun88’s brand position in the region.
