Home24 SE: home24 launches the first advertising campaign with Butlers products

Berlin, February 24, 2022 – With the motto “Dein Draußen braucht dich” (Your outdoors needs you), home24, one of the leading online providers in the home and living sector, announces this year’s outdoor season. In a cross-media campaign, the furnishing expert shows how neglected outdoor spaces can once again become a lost place into a place of well-being. “The aim of the campaign is to use novel and surprising short stories to positively anchor home24 in our target group and encourage them to furnish their own outdoor spaces for the spring season with new furniture and home accessories from home24” , says Sascha Vitzthum. , CMO at home24.

To achieve this, the campaign bets on contrasts and uses genre clichés from the world of cinema: a neglected terrace, for example, becomes a lost place with a potential for horror, and the disorder on the balcony is the adversary of a western duel – accompanied by wit and ironic humour. “In the spots, the protagonists stare in horror at their desolate outdoor space. Dark imagery and eerie music allude exaggeratedly to a sight many experience when they begin tending to their garden or balcony after a long winter break,” explains Corinna Nachtigall, Brand Director at home24. “With the message ,Dein Draußen braucht dich’, we transform our customers into heroic characters who recover their forgotten outdoor spaces with the help of home24.”

The campaign can be seen on TV as well as digital channels and social media. In addition to Germany, the campaign will also be broadcast in Switzerland and Austria from February 27. The creative idea was conceived by designer Lisa Reissner, with subsequent production handled by The ShackDMC and Sirensrock of Hamburg. Caspar-Jan Hogerzeil was the director.
