Meta launches new podcast exploring online advertising and marketing

Meta today launched a new series of podcasts, Connected which tells the lesser-known stories and explores the past, present and future in the key areas of marketing, advertising and consumer behavior. You can listen to the first episode HERE.

The new season is hosted by HardHat founder and behavioral science guru Dan Monheit, and features a range of industry luminaries giving their perspective on key topics.

In the five-episode season, Monheit explore several topics including tevolution of online advertising and how brands are adapting for a more transparent future.

Monheit will host various subject matter experts including internet historian Brian McCullough, IAB Australia CEO Gai Le Roy, social media strategist Meg Coffey, WPP AUNZ President Rose Herceg and Belle Taylor of Spotify;

Connected will also explore attention as a marketing metric, with marketing science expert Dr. Karen Nelson-Field, Coles CMO Lisa Ronson and world-renowned media strategist Faris Yakob adding their expertise to the topic.

How messaging apps are creating new opportunities for brands will also be discussed, with insights from Warehouse Group marketing director Jonathan Waecker and social researcher Claire Madden.
